SELF-DISCIPLINE: No Skill Without It

Self-discipline is the ability to control yourself and, even in difficult situations, to put yourself within the boundaries of your will.

Achieving the expert level in anything is impossible without self-discipline, and as with almost any ability, self-discipline improves with practice.

Self-discipline always comes from within and must be connected to endpoints you deem valuable: beliefs that some “Gunnery Sergeant Hartman” at some military school can help you or anyone become more self-disciplined are a dangerous delusion.
